Ben Hodges: An SIBF Virtual Event
The Precipice: Geopolitical Flashpoints & the Next Great Shift
Tuesday, May 19, 2026 - 11:00am ET via Zoom
You are invited to an exclusive virtual presentation and conversation with retired Lieutenant General Ben Hodges, former Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe, as we examine the world's most urgent and consequential global developments.
This session offers a front-row seat to the most consequential flashpoints reshaping the global order. At the center is the escalating conflict with Iran, its nuclear ambitions, regional proxy networks, and the impact of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. He will provide insider perspectives on how this volatile theater intersects with a broader landscape of compounding crises: a grinding war in Ukraine that continues to redraw European security architecture, an emboldened Israel navigating an existential struggle on multiple fronts, and China's expanding influence across diplomacy, technology, and trade. With energy markets on a knife's edge and long-standing alliances under pressure, this webinar examines how these interlocking forces are testing the limits of the post-Cold War international order and what comes next for you.
Following his remarks, Lieutenant General Hodges will engage in a small group, face-to-face conversation with attendees, offering the chance to ask questions and explore the deeper implications of these unfolding events.
Space is extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Secure your spot now for this invitation-only session and join the conversation at the intersection of strategy, security, and global affairs.
