The Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF) is a global network of over 1,600 accomplished leaders, including C-level executives, senior leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators, representing 45+ countries across four affiliate networks. Our members share a passion for international business, geopolitics, global trends, and making a positive impact in the world.

Membership Criteria
SIBF membership is by nomination and selection through an application process, ensuring a high-caliber community. Applicants must meet the following requirements, known as the four pillars of membership:

- Be a current or retired C-level executive and/or senior leader with at least five years of demonstrated leadership and achievement.

- Actively involved in international matters or expanding internationally.
- Considering near-term global exploration or possessing a significant career history in international business affairs.

FELLOWS’ INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES (FIC)
Typically seven to ten days in length, SIBF Fellows International Conferences leverage an exclusive network of business, political, and cultural experts to present a comprehensive understanding of countries throughout the globe. FICs have been held in Vietnam, Peru, Indonesia, South Africa, Chile, the Baltic States, and Iran, to name a few—these programs are a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

WASHINGTON BRIEFING
The Washington Briefing is held biennially and is one of SIBF’s highest-rated programs. Hear the latest developments on domestic and international policy and perspectives from all sides of the political spectrum. This program has a track record of introducing members to unique venues and speakers that go far beyond the typical business group Washington fly-in.

GLOBAL NETWORK SUMMIT (GNS)
Held every two years on a rotating basis between the four sister networks, the Global Network Summit is a moveable feast of learning, sharing, and connecting leaders from across the world. Member hosts in these regions are waiting with open arms to introduce you to fascinating people, places, ideas, and unique experiences that ordinary visitors could never access. Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Jordan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and India are just a few of the countries that have hosted this exciting global event.

CAMBRIDGE YOUNG ADULTS: MONEY & RESPONSIBILITY
Our mission of connecting and educating leaders extends to the next generation through a unique international summer program for SIBF family members aged 17-24. Participants learn from world-class scholars, visit historic sites, and enjoy cultural highlights. Previous attendees describe the Cambridge summer program as "a cultural and intellectual retreat" and "a compelling combination of factual business lectures and intense philosophical debates" in a setting "offering so much history with breathtaking sights and scenery."

SIBF ANNUAL SUMMIT
SIBF’s yearly premier program brings together leaders from around the world for three days of engagement and learning. The BOSS program is a dynamic and enriching experience designed for women in SIBF. SILICON VALLEY BUSINESS FORUM
Get an insider’s view from Silicon Valley experts and delve into key topics and trends in the tech world. Learn about the impact of the coronavirus on the healthcare industry, the future of the green economy, the changing landscape of cryptocurrency, and more. Keep your business ahead of the curve with insights you can only hear on this program. The forum is held biennially and alternates with the Washington Briefing.
Palo Alto, California - October 2025
NATIONAL & REGIONAL EVENTS
SIBF’s domestic briefings present the latest information on business trends and growth industries, as well as an opportunity to connect with peers to exchange ideas and build relationships. Past briefings have included a deep dive into the automotive industry of Greenville, South Carolina, an analysis of the economic and cultural landscape of Montgomery, Alabama, and a behind-the-scenes look at the agricultural supply chain of Minnesota. As a community of global leaders, our business endeavors and social lives are often increasingly demanding of our time and attention. - One-time Initiation Fee: $5,000 (includes the first year of membership)
