Egypt boasts one of the world’s oldest civilizations and offers one of its most colorful histories. The country’s modern culture is notable and dynamic in its own way. The 2024 Fellows’ International Conference begin with visits to Cairo and the Great Pyramids of Giza. Engage in briefings by business leaders.  Spend time with MELA members and learn about our sister network's interesting activities. Continue to beautiful Abu Simbel and Aswan. Next we charter one of the Nile River’s most luxurious ships and cruise to Luxor, visiting some of the world’s most extraordinary temples and tombs along the way.

Cancellation Policy: Because of SIBF's financial commitments, the balance of the registration fee is non-refundable after August 30, 2023 regardless of circumstance (i.e., weather-related, medical, business conflicts, family emergency, etc.) unless the trip sells out and a replacement can be found. Members are highly encouraged to purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Travel:
Attendees should book their flights to arrive in Cairo no later than 4:00pm, Monday, February 19, for a welcome dinner. We will offer optional Cairo sightseeing the morning of Monday, February 19, for those who arrive early. The program ends with disembarkation of the river cruiser by 8:00am on Tuesday, February 27 and a transfer to the Luxor airport. Please book your international departure from Luxor. Most flights connect through Cairo, but there are exceptions. For those with a long layover or overnight layover, the Le Méridien Cairo Airport hotel is linked by a pedestrian bridge to Terminal Three of the Cairo International Airport. Our travel partner, R. Crusoe & Son, is pleased to assist with post-tour travel arrangements. Contact: Kylie Early 312-980-8009. k.early@rcrusoe.com.

Visa/Passports:
Travelers must have a valid U.S. passport for entry. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended date of departure. A visa is also required for entry and included in the tour price. This will be done upon arrival so no need to get a visa in advance.

I give this acknowledgment freely and knowingly. I am, as a result, able to participate in the SIBF events, and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being.
