The North American Leadership Alliance (NALA) is an intensive, five-day immersion program designed to expand your impact – professionally and personally. It brings together leaders from Canada, Mexico, and the United States to elevate their leadership skills, develop close working and personal relationships, and expand their strategic networks geographically and across specializations, industries, and sectors. NALA will bring together a select group of successful, talented and rising leaders who seek a unique leadership experience, access to meaningful professional and personal relationships, and access to new ideas and ways of thinking in the next phase of their careers. Following completion of the program, graduates will be invited to become members of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF).
The program will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, at the new Epicurean Hotel, located in the heart of Midtown,
April 14-19, 2024, beginning on Sunday afternoon, April 14 and concluding early afternoon on Friday, April 19.
Applicants for membership should meet the following criteria:
- Ideally fall within the age range of 30-50
- Must be willing to commit to an “all in” mentality for the entire duration of the NALA program
- Currently or formerly in a leadership position in a company with international business responsibility, or an organization that is international in scope or increasing its international presence
- Have a proven history of being active in organizations, a team player, a thought leader, a life-long learner, and interested in the world
- Interested in taking part in a global network (SIBF, MELA, CELA, SEALA)
- If in a relationship, are in a supportive relationship with a partner/spouse who will also be an active participant in SIBF
- Are comfortable conversing and learning in English
- Character and integrity must be without question

To be considered for the North American Leadership Alliance, NALA, a completed application and the following must be submitted before November 1, 2023. Two letters of Recommendation from individuals having direct knowledge of your qualifications and character (e.g. your business partner, the executive to whom you report). These letters should describe the nature and length of the relationship with you and, to the extent possible, address your character and accomplishments. The completed letters and a recent, color digital photo to be used by in class materials should be addressed to the NALA Selection Committee and either submitted with your application or emailed directly to Michelle Penny, Program Manager, and Bobby Henebry, chair of the Selection Committee at Apply@NALAnetwork.org
Program fee includes tuition, all program materials, lodging, meals, and program activities. It does not include transportation to the program site. A deposit of US$500 is due with application. The deposit will be applied as a credit to the program fee for accepted applicants. If not accepted, the deposit will be refunded.
