Tamar Sigua (MA) has a strong professional experience in operations and management, including more than fifteen years of work experience in this field with international donors and private sector. The overall value of finance and operations managed by Tamar Sigua is estimated as about USD 180 million. She has a strong experience of Financial and Grants Management for large multidonor-funded projects in Moldova (Chisinau based) Syria (Damascus based), Libya (Tunis based), Georgia and the Caucasus Region; proven record of managing procurement & finance,administrative and HR fields in international projects. During Tamar’s management of the Bank of Georgia’s Branch on Marjanishvili, the Branch moved from the 27th to 11th position among 151 branches of this Bank. As a leader of organizational systems development, Tamar Sigua developed strong systems of cross-control, internal control, risk management at various organizations to ensure maximum accuracy of financial records, grants, and contracts management. As a true innovator, she pioneered a digitized system of management which ensured efficiency of auditing and in-country reporting systems. Together with her teams, Tamar Sigua has established clear and strong monitoring systems and instruments for managing sub-grants/contracts. Tamar’s academic excellence, a PhD completed courses in Philology is strongly supported by the number of highly professional, practical international and in-country courses in international finance and auditing, HR management, fraud awareness, internal controls, and others. Tamar has a professional affiliation with Central Eurasia Leadership Alliance (CELA) and in 2016-2018 has served as its elected Consul in Georgia.
