Professional Bio
arrah Sammoon has accrued over three decades of expertise in global mobility, immigration, and citizenship by investment, consistently prioritizing compliance. She's the architect of MAGELLAN CHAMPLAIN, a consultancy offering adept services in global mobility and residency for elite clients and businesses. Distinctively, Sarrah is Sri Lanka's lone Global Mobility Professional certified by Talent Management (USA). Internationally, she connects as Sri Lanka's representative at the Investment Migration Council of Switzerland, European Relocation Association, and heads the Forum of Expatriate Management UK – Sri Lanka Chapter.
Branching into gemology, Sarrah contributes to her family's storied five-generation sapphire legacy, distinguishing their niche in unique colored gemstones.
With a heart for women's business empowerment, Sarrah is integrally linked to the Women's Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Sri Lanka, even pioneering their Policy Advocacy Arm. From 2012, she’s led projects bolstering women's economic standing, in sync with the Women's Chamber and Center for International Private Enterprise.
Since 2020, Sarrah has been the Sri Lankan face for the Center of International Private Enterprise, USA. Her collaboration with CIPE and Verité Research (Pvt) Ltd during 2020-2022 solidified significant Sri Lankan infrastructure projects, spawning the Alliance of Sustainable Infrastructure.
Sarrah co-founded Sapphire Capital Group and aligns with boards like the South East Asia Leadership Academy, ERC USA’s APAC Advisory Council, and Paradigm, Australia’s DIE committee.
A graduate from Excelsior University, NY, and an MBA from the University of Wales, Sarrah's interests span travel, literature, and intellectual platforms such as SCOR.
